The West Virginia Hardwood Alliance Zone is proud to boast not only a rich abundance of forests but also thousands of highly skilled, experienced workers. The Alliance Zone is home to many institutions that offer 2- and 4-year forestry degrees, as well as workers who have worked in the industry for many years.
